Custom Build Home sales portals and user guides

Find me on:

We've been busy these last couple of months on a variety of development projects pushing the technical boundaries of Stickyworld's capabilities for explaining buildings, features which we can bring into future releases. One of these projects involves the development of customer portals for viewing and customising new homes, with panoramic content generated from architect's CAD and BIM files.

The opportunity to easily build a virtual tour of a future building was well demonstrated by the Design Museum in the virtual tour of their new museum here.

We are now working on automated ways to generate these kind of 360 virtual tours direct from architect's BIM models, and serving content via a customer sales portal that can transition to become an online end user guide for every property sold. Instead of our regular public consultation Stickyroom, we will offer private consultation rooms between a sales rep and the prospective customer, and we are building new tools to help people make more informed buying decisions.

In particular we see this working well for UK's new custom build market, and aim to make tools and new features that can streamline the creation of marketing content to help end users better understand and engage in the design choices for their new homes.

For now here's some test 360s generated of a residential appartment in a standard Stickyroom availableon the current platform.

More on this and other research projects will follow over summer. If you'd like to discuss using Stickyworld to explain property and connect directly with potential customers in private rooms embedded in your website, leave a comment or get in touch.
